What if I were a vulture,

Taking care of the waste of the land,

And you would come down and call me revoltingly beast,

While you are filling the land with imperishable waste.

Well, how do you think I would Feel?

What if I were a lion,
Hunting my prey just for food,

And you would come down with a rifle,

Hunting me and my tribe just for fun.

Well, how do you think I would Feel?

What if I were a river,
Bringing fresh water to all down my stream,

And you would come down dumping waste in my course,

Making me poison for all that I love.

Well, how do you think I would Feel?
